Today's Comic

Postby enesvy » Mon Jan 26, 2009 4:57 pm

I'm just looking for a place to go, "AAAAH! That was AWEsome!" As in today's comic: "Make a Magnet."

I love the idea behind Tiny Ghosts--that they are tiny stories all their own and the reader can take the idea further where ever they wish. Today's, in particular, is very thought provoking and creative. Niiiiiiiiiice. 8)

So if you liked today's comic--whatever day it is--shout out! :)

It couldn't have been all that awesome. I wasn't in it.

What I really want to know is who the hell are those pigs? They've been in more comics than Larry has, but no one around here seems to know anything about them.

Loved today's. That guy really looks 500 feet tall! Great picture.

Well technically he topped out at about 512, and by the time the photos was taken shrinkage had already begun and the scientists estimated he was only about 490, but using the most advanced photo technology we made him appear to be 500 feet tall because we figured that 500 was close enough and a good round number people would understand a little better. I hope you don't mind that bit of trickery.

They say God works in mysterious ways.
That's why I stopped sneaking up on him.

In the last two weeks I noticed something. This and last week's can be split down the middle to give two just as interesting individual comics. I know they're supposed to together, but I kind of like it that way - it's almost like 3 comics in one. If I were something other than a poor student with little money I might request a print of only the second panel in "One Thousand Miles" or maybe of the first panel in this past week's comic. When I get some free time I think I might go back through the archive looking for these single panels.

I've noticed that sometime people will post only one panel of one of the comics on their blog. Example:

Seems like a lot of extra work to me. Cutting up a jpg and all. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

I've always said that the best way to read a tiny ghosts comic is to start by cutting the first panel out and throwing it away. Then take the second panel and throw it away. Then go read something else.
